In this class, Adam will work with you to develop and expand on your performance skills. This is a performance class based around your needs and what you want to explore.

The main areas are:

• Text Work
  • Monologue (1-1) or Scene Work (Group Bookings)
  • Using techniques Adam has developed from his work in the industry, this class will focus on script analysis, how to approach a text, and how to get text on it’s feet.
• Acting
  • As a director in the industry, Adam can help you develop a performance piece (1-1) or a scene (group bookings).
  • Working with various different theatre techniques and practitioners, Adam can help you discover new ways to approach performance.
  • From Shakespeare to Contemporary text, Adam will discuss with you what you want to discover from each class.
  • Text can be provided and is not necessary to learn before each session.
• Drama School Applications
  • Having been through the drama school application process, Adam is well aware of how stressful it can be.
  • Adam has experience coaching students on all aspects of drama school applications, from UCAS statements to self-tape and monologue preparation. His previous students have gained places with Rose Bruford (BA Acting), Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (BA Acting) and Italia Conti (BA Acting).
  • This class will work with you to maximise your chances at gaining a place at drama school, from the first round audition to the final round interview.
